Fionia Lighting A/S is a research based company specialising in LED lighting for the horticultural industry. Our aim is to give professional nursery gardeners significant energy savings and thereby improve their market competitiveness. Our experimental data indicates an expected saving of 40-50 % on the end-user’s electricity bill after changing to Fionia Lighting’s LED luminaires.

In addition to electricity savings, a technology shift to LED lighting gives rise to a substantial reduction in greenhouse CO₂ consumption, a switch to intelligent energy utilisation and an opportunity for the gardener to control plant growth without the use of chemicals.
